About our Website

The COFLT website has just undergone a major update in design and information, hopefully to a more organized, professional, and user-friendly website. Some reorganization has occurred, but all major pages (conferences, etc.) can be still accessed through using the navigation on the very top or bottom of the pages. Additionally, board member contacts will be listed on every page for your convenience.

This website will undergo a second major update in early to late summer, in which we will add the capability to host large multimedia files, search engine, and an electronic bulletin board similar to Moodle.We are doing this overhaul to make our website not only more informative, but more interactive with online learning tools, teaching ideas, etc.

Even though we will handle the technical aspect of the redesign, we are relying on you, our members, to begin sending us feedback, comments, and suggestions. In order to build a strong, searchable base of teaching ideas and activities, conference presentations, and authentic materials such as videos, audio, and image files, we need you to send us any file/idea you may have, whether digital (email) or hardcopy (regular mail). Almost any non-copyrighted files, having to do with our field, will be accepted, whether hardcopy or digital. Even links, news items, and job openings, will be much appreciated. We cannot do this without you! As a bonus, you will get credit on the website for your ideas and submissions.
