Spectrum is published three times a year (Sept., Jan., April) by the Confederation in Oregon for Language Teaching (COFLT), and is mailed to current members. The editor welcomes short articles, anecdotes, descriptions of innovative classroom units or courses, reviews of teaching materials, op-ed pieces, and other materials of interest to language teachers.

Suggested maximum length is 1500 words, although longer articles will be considered. Shorter articles are always welcome. Materials may be sent as e-mail attachments in either WordPerfect for Windows, MS Word for Windows, or text file format. Other e-mail submissions should be cut and pasted into your e-mail text. E-mail attachments should preferably be prepared using Calisto MT font, 11 point, with .6 (6/10ths”) side margins.
